Maurizio Anzeri's work i find totaly amazing and exceptionally inspiring towards my own work. I tend to research him alot towards the end of my projects going into my final designs as i use alot of hand stitch myself i think keeping it contemporary and fresh is key to sucessful final designs. Anzeri makes his portraits by sewing directly into found vintage photographs. His embroidary patterns garnish the figures like elaborate costumes,but also suggest a psychological aura, as if revealing a persons thoughts or feelings. Very talented and truely amazing designs....
