Samples for final major project!!!

I started stitching into my print using metallic threads and small beads. I used blue and brown threads as i was still trying to find out what threads work best together. I really like this sample and think its been very sucessful but as im designing t-shirts I dont think the quality of the print is up to a professional standard.

I think the blue and coral work really well on this applique sample something which I have used in previous designs. As I am wanting to create something fresh and new I dont think these colours suitable for my finals. If i was designing for interiors I think this sample would be perfect. Because I am creating boys clothing the colours and fabric again are not suitable for the design I am going to make.
Again this sample was a mixture of pale blue fabric with coral and cream threads. I used french knots to make a unique pattern. Again i really like this sample and if i was making clothing for girls this could be something I could consider adding to my t-shirts but for boys this technique is not suitable and wouldnt be fit for purpose.
I used the heat gun in the print room to disstress the fabric. Something I have not tried out before. I like the sample and think if i was designing interiors like a cushion collection I could use this technique with hand stitch to make it eye catching and modern, but this sort of technique is not suitable for a clothing range for young boys. I like the died blue fabric with the pale and dark blue stitch but I feel this has been used so many times before I wouldn't be pushing myself to try something outside my comfort zone which is exactly what I wanted to do for this Final Major Project.
This is one of my favourite samples I have produced for my collection. I love the placement of the stitch and the colours of the threads I have used. I feel I have come along way since my first initial samples and these new samples are defiantly up to a professional standard. I like the white fabric with the dark grey metallic thread I will defiantly be using this in my final products. I bought some embellishments from a leather shop which I absolutely love. I think it gives such a unique twist to my designs and can really see these working on my final products as they are masculine if used in the correct way with the right stitch work.
